Since August 26, 2016 when Colin Kaepernick decided to not stand for the national anthem, others have come to join him through the past football seasons. By taking a knee or sitting through “The Star-Spangled Banner” NFL players have decided to peacefully protest in order to make their opinions and views known on systematic oppression of the minority in America.
