The hospital that I chose for this project is the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The hospital was founded by an actor named Danny Thomas. All he wanted to do was entertain people and to be successful enough to take care of his family. Since work did not come easy, Mr. Thomas started to become depressed and began to wonder if he should give up and look for a steady job. He turned to St. Jude Thaddeus and vowed, “Show me my way in life and I will build you a shrine” (St. Jude, 2017). He soon found work and became one of the biggest stars of television, film and radio. Mr. Thomas used his fame to fulfill the vow he made to St. Jude Thaddeus (St. Jude, 2017).
