Within 610 CE a man by the name of Muhammad would soon become a prophet of god when he had visions of Abraham in a cave in the mountains on the outskirts of Mecca, which is located on the Arabian Peninsula. After the major spread of islam historians debate how did Islam spread so quickly, this lead to disagreements amongst many historians, but the true main factors the contributed towards the spread of Islam are military conquest, treaties, and trade.
