The Sport Of Cheerleading

Cheerleading is performed all around the world at schools, universities, gymnasiums. (Google’s definition) “Cheerleading is a physical activity, sometimes a competitive sport, based on organized routines, usually ranging from one to three minutes, which contain the components of tumbling, dance, jumps, cheers, and stunting to direct spectators of events to cheer on sports teams at games or to participate in competitions”. Cheerleaders wear uniforms, girls wear skirts and tops and cheer shoes, boys wear long pants and tops and cheer shoes. Uniforms are your team or school colors, and name. Cheerleading is a hard sport and requires a lot of effort, some schools have early morning practice before school starts, Deerpath middle school has a cheer that starts at 7:00AM almost every morning of the week. When the girls get to practice girls roll out the mats, tape them, stretch for a good amount of time, some teams require exercises like running or muscle work, practice tumbling, practice routine, figuring out stunt groups and working together to make a stunt work, work on hand motions, teaching, roll up mats and get ready for school in a short amount of time in a locker room with around 20-30 girls. Cheer requires the most practice, they scheduled extra practice morning and after school. Some days are even dedicated to just working on teamwork. cheerleading I think is a sport that uses the most teamwork because you have to lift girls up in the air that requires a lot of trusts, and teamwork. you have to make a routine that will only work if everyone works together I think she should be a sport in all
