It is difficult for me to fulfill an assignment where I pinpoint one situation when it is an ongoing event that should be explained in a different form of illustration. For lust, it is a struggle every single day of a man’s life and in all the situations, there is a similar proclivity. I’m not stating that a woman can’t lust daily, but every able bodied man knows temptation stalks him every day. The human body reacts to sight, entertained by imagination, and gives him all kinds of false hints that stolen waters are sweeter. I’m not saying that I am above those who lust or closer to God than them, but nobody wants to draw the line of right and wrong in high school. This is why I don’t plan on dating in high school, even possibly college. If I do, it will only be because I’ve created a relationship that would’ve grown past friendship and it would be much different than what is seen typically. If I was to date somebody at Mahwah High School; that holds weight in the girl’s future self. How I treat her, talk to her, respect or disrespect her; none of that will disappear in her. What’s really happening is I’m treating somebody’s “wife to be” with my 16 year old high school mindset. The truth is, the girl I’m dating, will be somebody’s wife one day. Who am I to take my immaturity and self-righteous self and throw it onto her with horrible intentions? What I do will leave fingerprints on her and will forever change her viewpoint in future relationships for the rest of her
