The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan
The book is 512 pages.
Fiction Adventure, Legends and Myths, Fables, Folk Tales and Myths, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Fantasy and Young Adult. I give this book four stars, because the greek mythology interests me alot. It could be from my greek background. The first book in this series was delightful and I actually enjoyed reading it so I thought I would continue the series. The book is difficult at times. The frequent change between characters views each chapter can get confusing at times.

Dew Breaker Journal I’m partway into this book and so far, I have found it pretty entertaining .Though ,admittedly, very strange , I find the writing style to be very interesting and keeps me engaged in the story while I try to figure out and the different connections with the characters. An example of this being, how in the second chapter of the book, which speaks of the man who is preparing to bring his wife to live with him,is the father from the first chapter with Ka. Another aspet thta I found interesting is the first chapter and how it introduces yo to Ka and gives you this really indepth view of her life thoughts and relationship with her father. How she struggling to be this artist and selling her first work,I felt like it…

The book, “The Lost Hero” by Rick Riordan, is the first book of a new series of books following the “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” series. Rick Riordan has been known for his Percy Jackson series, and how he has shown his theme of Greek Gods. The Percy Jackson series was completely about Greek mythology. Now Riordan's new series is about the Roman gods, and their history and mythology. It’s interesting how this transition was made, especially since many of the Greek components still exist through the book.…

In the introduction, it is stated that the reason why the characters’ development is an important connection is because it makes the books more realistic, therefore intriguing. Ultimately, this creates a strong “bond” between the reader and character. It is this bond that I find engaging both in these books and literature in general. Since I was able to connect to Lev and Telemachus and their maturing over time, it was easier for me to read and enjoy both…

Critic’s Review The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan follows the alternative POVs of Percy, Hazel, and Frank on a quest to save the god Thanatos from confinement. This fantasy and adventure novel is something I recommend to everyone because of the added humor, action, and the mix of Romand and Greek mythology. Although some of the events in this novel can not happen in real life, there are some issues the characters deal with personally that make them relatable. I believe that everyone has faced or will encounter a moment where they’ve been under an enormous amount of pressure that made them doubt themselves. Percy, Hazel, and Frank each faced stress; however, they each had eachother to lean on when they were at low moments.…

“Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief” takes place in modern day New York, in a world where Greek Gods rule the world from Mt Olympus. The star of the story Percy Jackson is just like your average teenager other than the fact that he is dyslectic and has a case of ADHD. Little does he know that he is actually the son of Poseidon, and also a demigod. In a matter of hours, his world will be turned upside down as he has to accept the responsibility to stop Zeus and Poseidon from going to war with each other, turning earth into a battle ground and wiping out all life on earth.
