Unfortunately, I don’t think that a lot of people stop and think about the earth as often as they should. In fact, I think the last time I did anything community-based with the soil was in elementary school, which revolved around planting little gardens, composting, and learning to take better care of the earth. I don’t know how many times I had the phrase ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ repeated at, but I definitely don’t think I’ll ever forget it. In all honestly, I think that any step is a step forward, and learning more information about the earth and how we can help it is important.
