As for my urge to check out my Facebook immediately after I wake up, the social media helped me to maintain my social relationships as well as my gossips fuel. By reverse-engineering the social media aspect, I believe that I want to have a knowledge about relationship such as who is mating with whom, who became allies, and enemies. In a way, social media act as a gossip for me and gossip allow me to maintain my place in the human pack. Also, it allows me to establish and maintain friendships in terms of social connections. But today, the social networking is overwhelming and readily available for me. I have 200+ ‘friends’ on my Facebook and more of them I knew personally, but I do not have time to interact with them one-on-one. I have limits

I always have craving for sweet dessert and most of times, I lost my will to defeat these sweet dessert. Most of times, I thought it may related to my period, or so I thought. As Pinker mention about self-control or “weakness of the will”, he says that it occurs when your spirit is ready to go, but your flesh (body) is weak so we often have two different motives battling with us, one is responding to smells and sights and other one is remember the doctor’s advice and diet. I do believe that there are many battles between parts of the mind when it comes to the self-control because we do have many goals, which are food, sex, safety, and so on. Our mental agents are assigned to their different priorities and expertise so these agents tried to trick us into thinking ‘we need to focus on these goals instead of needs’. There are hit and miss since we have different intake on our memories on certain event. I often have problem with childhood memories because I vaguely remember it. But my siblings remember it well since they were older than me and have more accurate information of memories than I do. We have inborn motives that lead conflict with others, which in this case, siblings. My siblings and I shared a creative trait that run in our family as well as our extensive families, which is drawing, painting, craft, art-related. As I thought about more about this, I realized that we were competing each other in that area for parental favor. I always tried new techniques to upped my skills to do better as same level as my older siblings’
