Over the past 10 years, Social media have increased in its success and became the main thing in hundreds of millions of people lives. Social media consist of Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, Kik messenger and Google Plus, which allow our society to communicate with our family, our friends, and other new people. Some social media such as LinkedIn and Meetup are becoming very important for some people daily lives involving work and business. Many cities are now offering free public WiFi to their our citizens. However, many people has spent a large amount of their lives interacting with social media, others also has refuse to connect with social networking as well. Now, let’s see why social media can be mostly good, but also bad. Social networks has allowed our society to stay in touch with people that we had meet in our different points of our lives and help reconnect with our old friends that we may have not seen in awhile for very different reasons.Being online has help overcome physical distances as well. Although Facebook makes communication easier and more flexible with those who live far away, Facebook also can serve to circulate information, but the validity of this information cannot always be necessarily right. Facebook can be used to spread rumors and misleading information. Sometimes this information can have pessimistic impact on the lives of certain people. Facebook also can distracts us from our own life and have become the biggest source of entertainment today, which also means procrastination among many young people with often check ins. We are constantly bombarded with notifications from social media and many of them are of no use to us. Also social media can turn into addiction and have an effect on us
