Personal Narrative: If I Were Playing On The Football Field

As I walked out onto the field, dressed in my white jersey that i had washed the night before, I felt nervous and confident at the same time. It was my last soccer game and I told myself I would try my best and play until i couldn 't stand on my two feet. The field we were playing on wasn 't the field that we usually play on it was the football field. We were playing on the football field because it was senior night at our school for the soccer girls so we played under the lights. I walked out to the side line of the football field that had a spray painted version of our soccer field on it with of course the two goal nets on each side. I had started playing soccer my freshman year and i am now a sophomore so it had only been my second

I would always act as if I was the best there even though i might have been the worst. We shared half of the field with our rivals and they warmed up as we did. There was only 10 minutes left until we had to play usually varsity plays first but junior varsity was playing first this time and i was nervous but on the outside i felt confident. The clock kept ticking and ticking like as if a bomb was about to go off but for me this bomb was exploding all my nervous feelings and the ashes were my confidence or as i would say my sparkle. The Ref blew his whistle and the players had to get in their positions. I played right defense and honestly i loved that position although i would like to be upfront scoring the goals as forward but i don 't think i was good enough. The ball was sent to the middle i placed my feet firm on the green grass, there was a breeze and i stretched my arms and back a bit i looked straight at that ball and my team mates. Right as the ref blew that whistle i brought my 100% to that field and the ball was moving our forwards had brought the ball up a little but somehow the blue team had took it away from them and it was getting closer to our net. I felt like a wall i couldn 't let them break through my wall i had to stay strong and not let them get passed me. I got more and more nervous as the ball got closer to me it was only a couple feet away i had to stay on my man and block the
