Just finished reading The Snapping Turtle! To summarize this story, a respectful ten-year-old boy was feeling courageous one day so after he went fishing, he crawled into a culvert under Route 9N. The boy wanted to explore and find another route home. After traveling through the tunnel and through a bit of brush, he carefully wandered over to The Rez, an aged Greenfield Resveriour. He hid behind a bush so he could hear his tiny tormentors talk about a snapping turtle and how much it would sell for. After that, he went investigating, hoping to find a big enough snapping turtle.
