The two of them, a human and a chimera, had decided to meet at The Slice to discuss something of importance over dinner. Keeping their voices to a bare minimum, no one would notice their discussion.

The badger chimera who sat across from him had her hands crossed, waiting on her food to come. "It won't even be a substantial problem. Anastasia's possibly the easiest person to blame anything on. She was once a runaway and is now a borderline felon. All we need is a scandal, but... what?"

Straightening his tie, the human took a small swallow from the glass of water on his table. "Something will come up soon enough, Governor Amelia Hipke. Additionally, Hector LeBeouf was released from prison with next to no trials. Give it time, Governor, and what you want will come to you."
