I am known to be pretty fearless standing up for other people even risking my own life, well im just pointing out that im not afraid of most things. so normally im up pretty late hanging out with my two dogs after my roommates go to bed its usally silent unless they left the tv on and make me turn it off for i don't really watch tv and even if its on i just zone it out anyways im way more into nature and stuff like that being alone the forest is no big deal for me either knowing the sounds and smells of the forest is just my type …show more content…
my friend matt loves to try to scare me telling me that my cell phone wont charge because its probably a ghost sucking the energy out of it i just tell him shut up lol. ive never really been scared of ghost even im the kinda guy that will be waiting in the dark alone for my friend to pass by for a while, well anyways im sitting here its pretty silent my dogs are dead asleep like normal at these hours unless i move my foot they think its time to play everytime i get up or move ,well i start to hear this tapping sound on the window to my left . now its its probably just a bug or idk a bat for i am in AZ and there is plenty of bats and i do have my light on so maybe its hunting some pretty big bugs near my window right so after a while i hear it again but its different this time and much louder to the point where it made me jump that time and my dogs woke up pointing their ears to the window just before laying back down. i tell my friend im hearing sounds and he said i should look out the window witht he lights off im like nah i just brush it off as being some bugs or something not caring about loojing but it happens again and this time my german shepherd gets up to sniff around just before laying back down and hes uber lazy! so this kinda got me into the idea of looking out the window i get up and turn off the light so i can actually see out side if there is something and all i see is pitch black well i just give up and that's it nothing, i tell my friend and i don't hear any sounds again for the rest of the night. The next night comes im talking with

The argument of “Rethinking Sleep”, by Davis K. Randall, is people should consider sleeping in segments rather than 8 hour blocks. The two reasons are, naps with deep sleep help brains function at a high level, and segmented sleep improves daytime performance. Two more important pieces of evidence for the first reason are , “...recent studies suggest that any deep sleep- whether in an eight-hour block or a 36-minute nap- primes our brains to function at a higher level, letting us come up with better ideas, find solutions to puzzles more quickly, identify patterns faster, and call information more accurately. ”(lines 51-54), and “ Researchers at the City University of New York found that short naps helped subjects identify more literal and…

I really found this article to be addictive. I read it 3 times, I enjoyed it that much. It looked at counselor’s point of thoughts of a new student struggling with a sleep problem and possible an emotional problem hindering his sleep. It seemed like the counselor thought that Steve was having issues sleeping because he was the newest student on campus and it could be nothing more than first day jitters, and that this alone was causing his issue of his sleep problem.…

And continuously? I think my imagination took over and I was so scared my mind made up an excuse of ghosts because my family members are big ghost believers. I did not think about other reasons why the spoon could have moved. My imagination took over reason and I did not think of any logical reason how that could have happened. It could have been the wind because the tray is next to the window or it could have been a ghost because it was a metal spoon and the spoon is too heavy for the wind to move.…

I remember opening up my eyes unwillingly after being disturbed from a peaceful sleep. I looked over to the digital alarm clock set on my table on the right side of the bed. It was 1:18 a.m. on a Saturday night. I was awoken by a deep, resonating, humming noise that seemed very unusual. After watching The Shining before going to bed, I did not want to walk out of my bedroom door to find out what was going on, but the curiosity got to me.…
