Psychology is an amazing and important science which involves studying the mind, brain and behavior of human beings or animals (Lilenfeld, Lynn, Namy, Woolf, Cramer & Schmaltz, 2014, p. 5). There are many benefits to studying psychology such as, learning and knowing how to use all six aspects of the Scientific Thinking Principle. This principle outlines the form of thinking that we should be using in everyday life that allows us to accept scientific information, but not without evaluating it first to make sure what we are reading is cold hard facts (Lilenfeld et al., 2014, p.23).
