This book we read together in class was very fascinating. It was about a man named Crame-man and a boy named Tree-ear. Well Tree-ear was alone, basically an orphan. The reason why he was an orphan is because his parents had died of a fever. He has nowhere to go so he asked Crane-man if he could live with him. Crane-man he did not live any a house, he lived under a bridge. The reason why he did not have a house was because he had to sell it, so he could get money out of it and live by that money. The monks from the Church would go every winter to give Crane-man clothes. Crane-man use to have a son but he ended up dying. Well Crane-man he made Vases out of clay. One day Tree-ear asked Crane-man, if he could teach him how to

Tree-ear was so upset he literally almost cried. Tree-ear asked and begged and begged, why Crane-man would not show him how to make vases. Well Crane-man said "you may learn how to make vases, but you may not learn from me" he said. Tree-ear said "Why not?" Crane-man said "you're not my son". Tree-ear was very upset. Well Crane-man wants to go to a place where he can show his art to a man that will be able to work for and get money. Well they decide to go, but Tree-ear does not want to go. So they are on their journey. Well they stop and rest and they look up at this cliff where they see women getting chased by Monks. So the brave, courageous women decide to instead of being slaves, they rather jump of the cliff. Crane-man and Tree-ear describe them as falling flowers falling from the cliff. So Crane-man decides to leave his art at the cliff. Well Crane-man leaves his art there. So Crane-man and Tree-ear go on the cliff where they can go back to get the vases. Well they decided to go on the top where they saw they women jump of the cliff, they went up with their wagon. Crane-man well he had only one leg well he lost his balance and well he fell off the cliff. Tree-ear starts to cry and well he knew there was still one thing left
