“Our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this planet. We all breathe the same air we all cherish our children’s future. And we are all moral.” John F. Kennedy. November 22 ,1963, is a day that will be marked down as one of the worst murders in history. There are many conspiracies that are associated with with the murder of our thirty-fifth president, John F. Kennedy, some believe that one single lunatic is responsible. Others believe there is more to it, that there was a deeper plan formed by the Mafia/CIA. One man that was accused of the vicious murder, later found guilty, and killed, was former Marine and defector of the Soviet Union, Lee Harvey Oswald. There is evidence of Oswald being at the scene, he is a prime suspect for being …show more content…
This theory is valid proof that Lee Harvey Oswald was responsible for all three of the shots as there were no other gunmen involved. “The 6.5 millimeter carcano bullet that was used in the rifle was extremely stable, it will go through a lot of material and when it comes out it starts tumbling and that is how it hit Connally” (Cochran). Forensic Science Experts Luke and Michael Haag used the latest technology to re-examine the idea that one bullet hit JFK and then Governor John Connally. “Using 3D laser scanners- a technology that comes into play in forensics in recent years- the Haags documented the crime scene of Kennedy’s assassination and their proposed trajectory of the Single-Bullet in an effort to debunk popular conspiracy theories, such as the Grassy Knoll Theory” (Cochran). The evidence that the Haags were capable of finding with their research is more technical and believable with the advancement in technology. In this day and age, it is easier to come to conclusions and answer unsolved mysteries with the resources that are now available. What the Haags were able to uncover resolves many of the unknown conspiracies that only the innovations that exist now are capable of answering. There are still some conspiracies floating around here and there but for the most part it is evident that Lee Harvey Oswald is Kennedy’s murderer. “Lee Harvey Oswald didn’t have to be a good marksman to have accomplished the …show more content…
The Grassy Knoll Conspiracy goes head to head with the Single-Bullet Theory claiming that there was only one shooter, and there were only three shots that were taken. “Conspiracists have stressed witness testimony that the back of Kennedy’s head was blown out, suggesting a shot from the Grassy Knoll” (McAdams). The controversy of the nature of Kennedy’s head wound resulting with the Single-Bullet Theory. No bullets or bullet fragments were discovered in president Kennedy’s body apart from the small fragments associated with his head wound. “The Harper fragment was a piece of bone discovered in Dealey Plaza the day after the assassination. A Dallas doctor identified it as an occipital bone from a human skull. Further conspiracy books claim the fragment was found behind the location of the limo at the moment Kennedy’s head exploded” (McAdams). Arguing against the Grassy Knoll Conspiracy, the Single-Bullet Theory was developed into three stages; one bullet caused all of Governor Connally’s wounds passing through his torso and shattering his right wrist. The second stage stated that one bullet caused President Kennedy’s fatal head wound, and one bullet caused one of Kennedy’s non-fatal wounds by entering his back. Kennedy’s head was blown out which would imply both a shooter in

to be inaccurate. There were a few centimeters of difference between the drawing of the bullet wound on the back of Kennedy’s neck compared to the picture taken at Parkland Hospital. What was believed to be an exit wound on the back of Kennedy’s neck by the Parkland staff was later determined to be an entrance wound by Bethesda (McAdams “The Medical Evidence” 1). This contradiction implies that the government was attempting to cover up the fact that the gunshots came from in front of the car opposed to behind it where Oswald was alleged stationed (McAdams “The Medical Evidence” 6).…

This theory claims that the bullet, which struck President Kennedy in the back of the throat, exited his throat at a forty-five degree angle then proceeded to make a series of turns eventually striking Governor Jack Connally through his shoulder and finally his hand. This theory is one that starts to question the credibility of the Warren Commission and starts to demonstrate their attempts to cover up this assassination. The next theory is the “Grassy Knoll Theory.” This theory claims that a fourth shot was made that day from the Grassy Knoll in Dealey Plaza. This theory was not given credibility however until 1979 when the House Select Committee of Assassinations concluded that there was a ninety-five percent certainty that a fourth shot had been fired from the Grassy Knoll (Posner 1).…

The question is, how can Oswald be the only person that contributed in the killing when there were 3 shots fired? “You probably also know there are hundreds of conspiracy theories about who was behind the assassination, and whether Oswald was the lone gunman or if there was another shooter on the infamous grassy knoll” (Escobedo). With that said, the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was a conspiracy due to the 3 bullets that have been shot.…

In the book the accidental victim it is stated that on the day of November the 22nd the man that was supposed to be assassinated was John Cornally, the governor of Texas at the time. This book states that Harvey Oswalt was the assassin meaning this book does not revolve around the idea of who killed the president. The reasoning as in why John Cornally was the target that day was because Oswalt felt like he had been betrayed by him. In the book it is stated that Oswalt had no problems with John F. Kennedy, and the book portrays why would Oswalt pick up a riffle and specifically kill the president that day. The main reasoning behind the hatred of conally which according to the book caused the shooting was because when conally was the secretary of the navy he rejected a petition from Oswalt to reverse his dishonorable discharge from the marines.…

The Dallas Police Department was most fortunate to have both. The body of President Kennedy was transported to the Parkland Memorial Hospital where he was officially pronounced dead. Yet, contrary to Texan law, the body of JFK was flown out of Dallas on Air Force One and transported to a hospital in Washington D.C. This maneuver by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), again left conspiracy theorists questioning the brazen move. The significance of this strategy resounds most in the emergence of the “magic bullet theory” ( Texas A&M University, 2007).…

According to the report, a “magic bullet” was the cause of the nonfatal wounds inflicted upon President Kennedy and Governor Connally. As shown by Figure 1, the magic bullet goes into the President 's throat, out of the body, makes a sharp right turn, then a sharp left turn into Connally’s chest, and finally turns right again into the wrist then into the thigh of the Governor. After all of this,, according to Figure 2, the bullet stays in pristine condition after causing seven wounds including two broken bones. However, the chief consultant in wound ballistics for the U.S Army says that, “Under no circumstances do I feel that this bullet could hit a wrist and still not be deformed. We proved that by experiments” (Hinrichs).…
