The Sims 4

The Sims is a life simulation video game designed by Maxis. Sims 4 is the fourth title in the series produced by the company Electronic Arts (EA). The latest version was launched in North America in late 2014. However, that release was only compatible with Microsoft Windows systems.

Opinions have been widely varied on the game, with the most recent version being the most critically acclaimed. PlayStation and Xbox enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the release of a compatible version later this year.

The latest version also greatly expanded the wardrobe options players can use. Sims are no longer relegated to strict attire. Each clothing option is now available across all the different wardrobe categories, with each player permitted 5 outfits per category.

The Sims 4 gameplay reinvented a popular feature of previous versions. Each Sim character can have three personality traits, including a hidden trait.

One welcome change to The Sims 4 is the mouse capability to drag and pull, and then click to use the essential Create A Sim (CAS) feature.

Previous versions of The Sims built on the concept of weird individuals. Sims 4 does not lose any ground in creating a strange series of odd characters, people who do amusingly odd things.

As gameplay progresses, there are neighborhoods, buildings and landscaping features that are unlocked as a new level is reached.

Players can use the Gallery to import Sims houses and distinct features that other players have made. The Gallery option allows players to publish their creations and then have them downloaded. This is a very popular feature among the avid Sims

My all time favorite video game is Sims 3 because at one point in the game, once you earn enough money, you can basically destroy the original house you bought and design a brand new one from scratch. There were more than a few occasions where I would stay up until four in the morning playing Sims 3 just so that I could perfect my houses design. But, you do not work on only the house but also on every aspect of the lot itself. For example, if I wanted a two story home with a nice backyard I could easily create that in the…
