Mahatma Gandhi and Osama Bin Laden were very powerful and influential people in our world's history. These men both fought long and hard for what they believed in even if other people strongly disagreed in their beliefs. Gandhi and Bin Laden are extremely well known for their impact on each of their personal livfes, cultures, and societiesy,and although there on many differences between Gandhi and Bin Laden, there are also many similarities.
Mahatma Gandhi was born on October 2nd, 1869 in Porbandar, India. As a child, Mahatma was very timid and shy, but later started to rebel in his teenage years. He later went to a british university in London for schooling to become a lawyer just as his family asked him to be. He was fiercely discriminated for the color of his skin by a more dominant white student populus.
Osama Bin Laden was born March 10th, 1957 in the capital of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. His family was was very well known for their magnificent building skills. This made Bin Laden highly influential in Jeddah. After this, he joined the Islamic Brotherhood or Al-Qaeda which was a radicalist islamic group, in which lead to the events of the World Trade Center’s attacks on September 11th, 2001.

These men were both killed for what the strongly believed in. Gandhi was killed on January 30th, 1948 in New Delhi, India at a prayer meeting. He was shot 3 times at point blank range by Nathuram Godse. Godse was strongly against the Muslim race and Gandhi tolerated them. Osama Bin Laden was shot on May 2nd, 2011, in Abbottabad, Pakistan. He was assassinated by the well-trained division in the United States Military ‘Seal Team 6’. The main reasoning behind his tactical assassination by a American military force was due to his leadership in Al-Qaeda and his influence and coordination of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center in New York
