Manners and Etiquette
There are so many different types of manners and etiquettes in this world. Both manners and etiquette have its similarities and differences. So what is etiquette, etiquette is defined as good behaviour which differentiate us humans from animals. Manners on the other hand refers to etiquette as a code of social behaviour. Manners and etiquette goes hand in hand but they are not the same. Etiquette can also be known as a set of rules, and manners are an expression of our inner character.

Modelling good and proper behaviour, helps children learn how to behave, as does a logical approach to teaching rules according to what children experience in a typical day. Etiquette subjects for children include manners during mealtimes, behaviour with siblings and friends, behaviour with adults or new people, and etiquette in school.

Social Interaction
From the early days when children learn to talk, they quickly learn the words mine, please and thank you. Therefore even the youngest children can grasp the concept of showing gratitude and using kind manners when speaking to others and making a request. In this area of etiquette, parents may provide their children with set phrases and example situations, then help them practice such phrases and when they might be used.

Children of any age should learn how to behave with kindness and respect towards adults. This area of etiquette is important to teach, since children may interact easily with peers but feel shy or uncertain in the presence of adults. Again, coaching and practice phrases can be helpful to encourage children to maintain eye contact with adults, shake hands, respond well and to have a conversation. Children can learn that adults enjoy interaction with children and being made to feel special.

2. Bathroom etiquette refers to the set of rules which an individual needs to follow while using public restrooms or office toilets. Make sure to leave the restroom clean and tidy for the other person.

3. Wedding etiquette- wedding is a special event in every one’s life. He or she should ensure they behave properly at weddings. Never be late to weddings or drink uncontrollably.

4. Meeting etiquette- meeting etiquettes refers to styles one need to adopt when he or she is attending any meeting, seminar, presentation and so on. Listen to what the other person has to say. Never enter meeting room without a notepad and pen. It is important to jot down important points for future reference.

5. Telephone etiquette- It is essential to learn how one should interact with the other person over the phone. This refers to the way an individual should speak on the phone. Never put the other person on long holds. Make sure you greet the other person and do take care of the pitch and tone of
