First both sports have bats but softball and baseball can do this too If a bat’s length is 34 inches and the bat’s weight is 24 ounces, the bat would be referred to as a “drop-10” bat, or “–10” ( according to softball.isport.com ). Softball bats sizes depending on the way you play some are restricted from playing with. The bats have to be a certain size to play with during a softball game can be 24” length and the weight can be 13.5 oz anything bigger than that we cannot play with ( according to www.justbats.com ). Second the ball can be smaller but it is harder to hit with like for a t-ball bat we can use but it would be harder to hit with because of the ball size. The age 11-12 size bat is 30-31” length wise. Plus the mass (weight/length)

In order for me to be able to live out my dream of playing college softball I have to prove that I am more than just a 5’2 third basemen, I have to find a way to stand out. This will reduce the number of injuries caused by dwindling reaction times. The decreased reaction time can be especially dangerous for pitchers who are the closest to the batter. On the other hand, it could also be argued that the performance increase can’t be too drastic since we have continued to use these bats for 12 years without noticing this defect. But I believe the performance increase may not have been as drastic before people noticed its presence and began to exploit…

Baseball is a strong game and involves a few easy things to play. The most important thing to use when playing the game of baseball is a bat. There are so many bats out there; small barrels, big barrels, even a few of everything on the bat is a barrel, but a few of my favorite bats and the more probably used bats throughout baseball is the Demarini vs. Marucci. These two bats are very well used and that's because they are the best bats put together. Let's start with Demarini.…

“You play ball like a girl!” this famous quote from The Sandlot shows how baseball and softball players are always arguing which sport is harder than the other and the difference between the two sports. Gear in baseball is one of the most needed items, if not the most needed. In baseball you need cleats for gripping the dirt and grass.…

Although when it comes to stealing bases in baseball the runner is allowed to steal whenever the ball is live (which is most of the time). In softball you are only allowed to steal once the pitcher releases the ball out of their hand, but the runner is not allowed to leave the base if the pitcher has the ball in the pitching circle. Another major difference between baseball and softball is the how the ball is thrown to the batter. In softball the ball is pitched underhanded and can be fast as it is in fast-pitch softball or slow like in slow-pitch softball. In baseball the ball is usually pitched overhanded in really fast…
