The signs of the Greek Zodiacs were identified with the twelve groups of stars also known as constellations. They are associated with the four elements, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. “Zodiac” comes from the greek word meaning “Circle of Animals” the twelve zodiac signs relate to greek mythology because each sign came from a greek myth, They all explain how each group of stars found their way into the heavens. My zodiac sign is a Capricorn, which is a sea god. Its head and half of its body is a goat, the other half is a fish tail. The goat fish originated from Assyro Babylonian pictures of their god of Wisdom, who was half goat, half fish. My zodiac sign’s characterics include shy personality, stability, organization, ambitious, determined, and helpful. The Capricorn is influenced by the planet Saturn. The story starts with Rhea and Cronus. Chronus was at the time “God of all gods” and didn't want any children to portray him, as he had done to Uranus. In order for Chronus to not have children, he kept eating the children that Rhea had given birth to. Eventually, Rhea got fed up with Chronous eating her babies, so when she gave birth to zeus, she hid him and the nymphs took care of him. The horn of plenty originated when baby zeus tore from Amenthes her horn and it to be hollow. He then gave this hollow horn to the nymphs for taking care of him. He then promised to the nymphs that in the horn, there would be everlasting food and they would never run out of food. Therefore, this horn became known as the
