But as soon as the Odysseus was near his destination, his crew decided to open a bag of winds that was provided by the king. This bag contained evil winds as described and could ruin their journey. Before their ship could dock/ reach Ithaca the bad was opened and Odysseus was sent back to where they started. They were back to the island of Aeolia. As Odysseus appeared in front of the king, “the father [the king] answered. “Get off this island instantly!” (127). The quote shows that the king’s patience broke because Odysseus didn’t obey his warning of opening the bag. The king was good at the beginning but soon changed. This fault mainly goes towards Odysseus, thinking that he and his crew didn’t listen to the king and returned pleading for help once again.
