Bullying can also have a short term effect just like long term but it has a different approach to what short term damage it can cause. The victim can have difficulty sleeping at night, the reason is because the victim is having nightmares about the bully doing physical harm or verbally harm to the victim or the victim could be scared for him or her life. For victims that are younger they might experience bed wetting, which can occur from the frightening dream that has taken placed. Another type is having poor grades in school because the victim cannot concentrate on his or her work that they are to frighten of what the bully might do to them.
