The thing called love isn’t the first thing we think about when we read the text. But I think its important theme in this text. We see it by the way the character’s act. The first time we meet love is when we are getting told that each parent has a day with their children, where they spent their time on them. They want to create a better relationship between them and their kids. We are also seeing that the parents keep trying to cover their own problems for their children. They don’t want to trouble their kids more than necessary. We also see the mothers love for her children, when she realizes that Janie have died. She is of course very sad over the loss. But she is trying to hide it for her children. She wants to show them that she is strong but the two daughters know that their mother is very sad. We are also seeing that the father has a strong love for his daughters. We see it when he sacrifices his own life for his daughters. He attempts to say both his daughters but sadly only Dawn
