Bringing more children forth, as young as 6, to want the surgery. It also brings out people against changing genders and why they think it 's hindering our society. The only positive thing about having the surgery is that you’ll be happy. But, you’re happiness can change fast. Some transgenders have a good support system. A lot actually go to therapy to avoid the cons. Some transgenders regret undergoing sex reassignment surgery. They feel severely distressed and suicidal. Some even say that the medical care they received failed to prepare them for their new lives.(Batty) Many families don’t even approve of the transgenders decision to change. Which leads to suicide or depression. If you do decide to undergo this surgery, make sure you have a reliable support system, and that you’re prepared for the big change in your life. Not everyone approves of transgender people. Especially children that want to change. These people think that the child is just confused by his examples. Many think transgender right will destroy our society and economy. In the U.S, 18 states made it illegal to fire a transgender person just because they’re transgender. When they do get fired and it’s nothing to do with their appearance, some unhonest transgenders will claim that they got fired because they are transgender and sue.
