Soon all of his success would turn to madness as he found his first victim. When more research was put into the Bundy case, it was found he did not live the perfect childhood after all. It appeared that Bundy's troubles started at a young age. In an interview conducted by Bundy's aunt, she recalled waking up to find Bundy hiding knives under his covers; at the time she just believed it was a prank (Ramsland, 2013). Also, it was found that Bundy began his criminal days back when he was a teen, when he would steal cars to make people believe he was apart of the upper-class (Greene & Heilbrun, 2014).
