She writes in a great way that makes her readers think about what they are reading, but also doesn 't allow them to put the book down because they have to know what is going to happen next. With Shelley 's mixture of great vocabulary and sense of suspense she made for one great writer. One of the greatest spots of suspense in the story, Frankenstein, was when the monster, was telling his creator, who is actually named Frankenstein, which is just a whole other topic, that he was going to be with him on his wedding day. The monster was telling Frankenstein that he was going to be with him on his wedding night because he was planning on killing his new wife, because he wanted him to be lonely for the rest of his life, just like he was planning to do to the monster. That was a very scary part of the story because it ended up making Frankenstein cry, and he actually really did lose his wife to the monster; and the monster ended up being just as lonely. But then, the monster met an old man that took him into his home like he was his own son. The twist to the story was that the old man was blind and could not see the monsters face, and only saw him for what he was on the inside, which is a great quality to have as a human being. Except for the beginning, the events that happened in the book are in order. The beginning of the book starts in a flashback and help build up the story. The flashback is in the form of letters and counts as the prologue. Letter one starts with," You will rejoice to hear that no disaster has accompanied the commencement of an enterprise which you have regarded with such evil forebodings. I arrive here yesterday, and my first task is to assure my dear sister of my welfare and increasing confidence in the success of my undertaking." Walton is on a journey and has been writing letters to his sister to keep her from worrying that something has happened. She is famous for her use of words that allow people to see what she is writing about instead of just reading the story, or the poem, or whatever it is you are reading. There are a couple different speeches that are seen in her works, and they help guide the audience in the direction of understanding what they are reading and seeing in her essay.
