The review of ‘’the secret life of Walter Mitty’’
The first time I saw the poster of this movie I knew that this is a comedy. But to my surprise, I never think of a comedy could be so powerful and encouraging.
This is a clearly understandable comedy with the profound theme. It talks about Walter, an ordinary, cowardly man, who works with the photographic plate in a magazine company for 16 years. His life is so tedious that he always daydreams. He dreams about being a hero, saving the woman whom he falls in love with secretly, and beating the men who bullied him before, etc. He daydreams about something he couldn’t do in reality because of his timid. But funny things happened, and his boring life has been changed from here. Poor Walter suddenly

Director Ben Stiller’s film ‘The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty’ follows an average man’s life, living a mundane life and using vivid daydreams to add colour to his dull, grey existence. As adversity strikes when the most important negative image under his care goes missing, Walter Mitty is forced to challenge himself and his perceived comfort zone within his rigidly organised life. Walter begins by flying to Greenland, and as he pursues a photographer; Sean, his episodes abate as his real life takes on dramatic new shape. The deliberately exaggerated stand-off between Walter and Ted, imagined as a superhero-style battle through the streets of New York, gives way to the physicality of the ruggedly endless northern landscape. The wide shot of the…

Many people fear death at the back of their mind, unconsciously dwelling over the surreal fact that they would have to come face to face with it some day, yet most do not bring themselves to explore it completely until it lurks in the corner or appears on their doorstep. The sonnet “And You as Well Must Die, Beloved Dust” and the dramatic monologue “Identification”, explores the concept of death and how each writer comes to grips with it. Both poems express reactions to the inevitable nature of death and the process of how one digests such a foreign, yet present occurrence. “Identification” is written by a wife who receives the news of her husband’s death and impulsively reasons as to why he simply could not have died. “And You as Well Must…

The story was placed in the late 19th century, in a time period when mental illness and mutual respect for women wasn’t entirely acknowledged as a whole. The narrator was brought into a new house with her husband, and senses an odd feeling in the home from the start. Her treatment for depression is based on her barely being active. She is placed into a room with no means of interest other than the non-definite patterned wallpaper in which she slowly begins to see patterns of other woman being trapped.…
