The Secret, By Esther Hicks Claim

The Secret In the film The Secret, Esther Hicks claims, “Whatever it is you are feeling is a perfect reflection of what is in the process of becoming” is true. After this claim is made, Bob Doyle tries to support it by saying that if someone rolls out of bed and stubs their toe and allows it to affect their mood it will create a spiral affect that can ruin a persons’ day. I agree with this claim but to a certain extent when it’s broken down and applied to certain situations because of my knowledge of the world and background information.
Breaking this claim down and applying it to a real life situation makes it easier to evaluate. With that being said if you wake up an hour late for work, then you will probably be stressed the rest of the day, if you’re stressed for the rest of the day then you probably won’t do your job to your full potential. So if you wake up an hour late for work you probably won’t do your job to your full potential. This hypothetical syllogism would help support the claim but this claim is very broad and basically states that it can relate to anything.
