During the duration of 1850-1914 Europe underwent a drastic change as a European society. The new shift in societal values was a result of new revolutions, urbanization,expansion, and industrialization. The Second Industrial Revolution had been one the greatest causes of these changes, for the revolution had been in progress for the last third of the 19 century and continued into the beginning of the 20th century.The revolution had ended with a very impressive amount of new innovations, and inventions that changed the daily lives of many. The increase of money from both historial events creates a different social consumerist life for the daily European. Now that there is an increase of goods from all around the world customers begin to be able to buy an astonishing variety of goods, all in one place . This then sparked a start in Department Stores and Advertisements which usually contained Racist and Sexiest attributes , While previously the norm had been the scarcity of resources and money, the Industrial era created an unprecedented economic situation. For the first time in history products were available in outstanding quantities, at in low prices. The poorer classes of society were able to afford such products only used by the wealthy classes which was a brand new cultural and social concept in Europe.Shopping had also became a place of leisure and with new innovation like lights,electricity, and transportation people can visit places and buy other countries
