The Sears ATC Model

It's becoming more and more likely that Sears is going to go out of business within the next year. The cost of running the stores is basically killing the company; it will eventually discover that the equilibrium number of Sears locations is zero. This proves that Sears is currently producing below its ATC curve. Sears has suffered due to the change of demand from retail stores to online shopping.
