Many of the important decisions that are made by our government are made by the national government. Most of the decisions that they make do not effect only a certain group of people, but instead they effect a large amount of the U.S. citizens. If these decisions were made wrong, the effect would not be seen on only a small amount of people, but they’d effect our whole nation. Also, the supremacy clause makes it so that if there is ever a disagreement between the state and the federal government, the laws of the federal government “shall be the supreme Law of the Land” (pg.56). Also, the Necessary and Improper clause gives the national government the power to create any laws that are reasonably related to its expressed powers. Both of these clauses give the national government an abundant amount of power over the state
