Through out the short stories, The Sea Devil and A Mountain Journey, shows how someone in a challenge will respond. When foolish, cocky individuals are faced with a tough situation, they are often faced with many obstacles to overcome. While facing many challenges, ones perspective of life may change, and an individual may be able to concur their fear.
