At the time this was a hop skip and a leap out of my comfort zone. I feared that I would have to meet new people and was required to express myself in poetry to others that I had just meet. I knew that this was going to be very uncomfortable but knew that it would be a good thing for me to experience. Not only did I have a fantastic time and learn plenty of new writing skills but the program also helped me take down some of my limits socially and taught me that it is a great thing to do things that intimidate you. This experience and many others are what have encouraged me to apply for this internship. Of all the opportunities this could be the biggest one yet. I may have passed up other smaller opportunities because of my comfort zone and I greatly regret doing so. However, this Internship is something that I would be greatly disappointed in myself for not applying
