The story takes the lives of the wolf girls, and the portrayal of their lives are strongly correlated with today's school system. With the mention of the emphasis on grades, the competition to be one of the better students, and how the school system alters students to make them better fit for what is socially accepted, the story goes to show the negative aspects of today's school system. The function of the National Honor Society (NHS) is to promote leadership and help develop character in students through community service. Being part of an organization like the National Honor Society would open doors to new opportunities such as tapping into a network of individuals that have similar interests as mine. If selected, I would help contribute to the growth of NHS by using my time helping other students achieve their goals academically, whether they need help with school work or studying. By mentoring, this would also help improve my leadership skills. I would also help contribute to the success of NHS by providing ideas for new projects that could positively impact the lives of fellow members and society in general for instance,…

Another common trope in witch-wizard fantasy is, magic must always be present in some way. This means throughout the story there must be a magical source or somebody who has the power to produce magical powers. In my own novel “Hex Hall” there is magic found throughout the story since the main character is a witch, she casts spells whenever she pleases and her father is a warlock so she gets her magical side from him. In Harry Potter it is present considering they attend a school specifically for witchcraft and wizardry, every student who attends must be of the magical background. Another one in this sub-genre is having friends and allies.…

Many studies show what personality traits can affect schizophrenia. John Forbes Nash Jr. showed an interesting personality trait that amplified his schizophrenic disorder. According to Capps (2004), his narcissism not only intensified his schizophrenia, but it helped in his recovery or repression of his schizophrenia. The movie, A Beautiful Mind, attempts to convey the life of Nash in a way that is understandable to all.
