Horror Story Henry was a small child who had just turned the age of nine. He lived with his grandpa who was seventy-three. Henry’s grandpa didn’t pay much attention to Henry, he had dementia and other mental diseases so he didn’t know much about taking care of Henry. From the age of five Henry had to learn how to care for himself. Henry was very intelligent, he had to learn how to cook food for himself, wash his clothes, and take care of other essential means. He then remembered that it was Tuesday and his grandpa always went to the grocery store on tuesday. He sat down and started to read a book on the couch. Henry began to hear knocking noises. He walked over to the front door and looked out the window, no one was there. Henry heard the knock again. The knocking noise wasn’t coming from the door. Henry walked around the house trying to figure out where the noise was coming from. Whenever Henry walked near the basement door he heard the noise. He put his ear on the door, he heard the noise clearly now. The knocking was definitely coming from the basement. Henry debated on whether he should go in there or not, he decided to go in. Henry twisted the doorknob, but the door was locked. Henry searched the house for a key to unlock the door. He walked into his grandpa’s room which he had never been in before. He searched around the room, he lifted a few objects searching for the key. He was about to give up when he saw a metallic object protruding out from under one of the pillows on the bed. He lifted the pillow to find a silver key. Henry grabbed the key and hurriedly ran to the basement door. The key fit perfectly and the door swung open. It was dark, Henry made his way down the stairs. He began to hear whispers and he began to be frightened. He had never disobeyed his grandpa before. He heard his grandpa walking down the stairs and he began to panic. The footsteps of his Grandpa walking around the basement were nerve wrecking to Henry. Finally, the door swung open and the lights flickered on. Henry saw his grandpa at the door and in the far corner of the room he saw a woman and a man with familiar faces. These two people were Henry’s parents, they called out to Henry but they didn’t say Henry, they called him Tommy. Henry was so confused, he didn’t know what to do. At that moment his grandpa grabbed Henry and pulled him out the door. His parents called out to him and Henry tried to free himself from his grandpa’s grasp. Henry’s mom and dad both struggled to try and make Henry’s grandpa release him. His grandpa was heading to the stairs to get Henry out of the basement. His parents finally freed him and knocked the grandpa over the head with a lamp. Henry’s grandpa passed out and his mom and dad both embraced him in a huge hug. Henry still didn’t understand what was going on. They called the police and within a few moments cop cars surrounded the house. They took Henry and his family outside to question them. While the police were talking to Henry he saw his grandpa in cuffs being escorted out of the house by two police officers.
