The reason why doubt does not mix with faith is because, if you have doubt, then you cannot have faith. As I said before, faith contains the building blocks to salvation. One ounce of doubt will definitely destroy a gallon of faith. James 1:6 tells us, “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. This scripture means that our faith is our salvation, it save us from being a puppet or easily convinced to do anything that we are told. Also, when you doubt your salvation you do not completely understand and believe what Jesus Christ has done on the cross to guarantee your salvation. When you doubt you lack the confidence to completely trust in God and appreciate his faithfulness. Some will say that doubt is normal and does not mean that you disbelieve. This is true to some extent. You can still believe in God and have doubts; however, if this occurs, then you are not one hundred percent faithful to God. The reason why I am saying this is because Scripture reminds us many times how powerful faith is and how the smallest amount of faith can make miracles happen. I’ve had an encounter with a life or death situation that only faith and Jesus’s salvation could have saved. My neighbor’s three year old son had a fever so high that it sent him into a server seizure. The seizure was so bad that the young boy had stopped breathing and turned blue. His lips were literally discolored and his eyes had rolled to the back of his head. My first instinct was to throw him to the floor, place my hands over him, and pray. I prayed so hard that I began to rock. In an instance his color returned to his face and body, and his eye pupils were visible. His chest started to move up and down slowly, as if God was breathing air back into him. The paramedics told us that by the sound of things, he was more than likely dead at a point in time but he came back. This is
