1: (a) Type of social intervention: The Salaam Wanita project employs the Work Integration Social Enterprise (WISE) model, making use of a product as the choice social intervention. Salaam Wanita provides employment for the disadvantaged women by training them to weave baskets, and then paying them at least half of the revenue from the selling of the baskets.

As these organisations target a similar beneficiary, by working with them, Sheau Ching can gain further insights into disadvantaged women in Singapore, as well as gain the relevant resouces required to help Salaam Wanita 's beneficiaries. On top of that, there are various grants available that Sheau Ching can set about applying for, such as the various grants offered by the Singapore Centre for Social Entreprise (raiSE), as well as the DBS Foundation 's Social Enterprise Grants. These funds are specially for Social Enterprises, and would thus be easier for Sheau Ching to obtain as compared to the grant options she would have in Malaysia. Secondly, Sheau Ching would need to look into innovating the products she has been offering to customers to attract return customers, which is important to the sustainability of the business. This would be necessary considering that the market research revealed that majority of the surveyed would likely only make a one-time purchase. As such, for the business to be sustainable, Sheau Ching would need to look into innovating the current products to make them more applicable for customers to continue making repeat
