What does "be cool" mean? Well, it certainly doesn't mean be a rude, obnoxious jerk. What I was trying to say is that you mustn't try and be someone you are not. Be you. And the only person who knows who you are is you. By treating people like they don't matter is probably the worst thing you could do to try and impress your friends. Your friends will like you no matter how you behave, that is if they are real friends. You don't have to belittle people and make them feel like garbage to impress your friends or to boost your alter ego. Basically what I am trying to say is that having friends is a huge part of being successful. I mean why aim to be a teacher when you know you have the ability to be a professor, or aim to sell musical instruments when you have the potential and knowledge to be a musician or to start a band. What could be better than being successful at a job that you love. For me NOTHING, nothing at all.
