After only knowing each other for a few hours, Romeo and Juliet prepare to fully disregard the feud between their families in order to be together. For example, Juliet says “Or, if thou wilt not, be sworn my love,/ And I’ll no longer be a Capulet.” (Ⅱ.ⅱ.39-40). Juliet is saying that if he will not leave his family for her, but confess his love for her, she will change her identity as a Capulet for love which shows that this is in fact love. Because when someone is merely infatuated, they would not be willing to make such a large commitment. Juliet is defying her family by having a relationship with Romeo which is significant because it seemed like Juliet had a strong bond with her family. Additionally, Romeo later says “Call me but love, and I’ll be new baptized./ Henceforth I never will be Romeo. This is yet another example of how much Romeo is really in love with Juliet because not only did Romeo completely forget about Rosaline at this point but he is also willing to give up more for Juliet than he ever did for Rosaline. Finally, at the end of the night, before Juliet must go inside, she says to Romeo “Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow,”. (Ⅱ.ⅱ.151). It seems like just moments earlier Juliet was indecisive about when she wanted to get married and whether or not she wanted to get married soon or not. Now, she is open to getting married the next day to her family’s enemy 's son. This shows that she really loves Romeo because although he belongs to the Montague or enemy family, she was able to commit to him faster than she could have ever committed to someone else such as Paris who she obviously did not have these feelings
