Now of course any normal person would have turned that dare down, but I wasn’t normal, nor was I going to refuse to do the dare. I asked if I could pick the roller coaster and they told me that I could any of the roller coasters here. So I ended up picking Magnum XL-200. After telling them the roller coaster I chose we started to walk over to where it was at in the park. The whole time I was trying to keep myself from having a nervous breakdown, I mean sure I can be a bit of a daredevil at times, but climbing up a roller coaster is just insane. It took about five minutes to reach the roller coaster. Quentin and Taylor both wished me luck before I started to climb. When I started to climb I couldn’t help but think that I was going to fall or something bad was going to happen to me. Right before I got to far up I yelled out to both of my amazing friends thanking them for everything they have done for me, except this of …show more content…
Before starting to go down the hill I took a minute to calm my nerves, I felt like something bad was going to happen and no matter what I couldn’t shake that feeling. Right when I started going down the hill I could tell that it was going to be difficult to get down. Boy, was i right about that. I slipped the first time when I was about halfway down. A few years ago, on a class trip, my friends had asked me to ride at least one roller coaster. It was not a large roller coaster, but it made me queasy just looking at it. I was confident that I would be able to go on and enjoy the experience. My confidence quickly evaporated when we began climbing up the roller coaster’s first hill. The ride dropped, and I was screaming so loudly that I could only hear myself.…

When the first one was finally done what seemed like three hours later, we only had one minute before we were going again, and after that everything got progressively worse. By the time we finished running the second time around the hill, two people had already thrown up. I really wanted to, especially with the thought of having to run eight more. After we ran the sixth one, not only did two more throw up, but six people had given up completely. I really wanted to give up, too, but I was determined to finish!…

Sit back, buckle up, and get ready to scream because I love roller coasters. My family and I go to Cedar Point about every month in the summer, and my dad and I go and ride everything in the park. It is just so fun! The one thing I really like about roller coasters is that there are little rides for the youth kids also. My least favorite thing is when I am not tall enough to enjoy a ride, which doesn’t really occur anymore.…

So this meant that my brother and sister got to sit in the very front of the roller coaster car, and my dad and I were right behind them. When we got in, it seemed like no time had passed from when we got in the line, to when we were seated in the ride getting ready for a moment that I would never forget. We waited for about 30 seconds for the workers to make sure everybody was strapped in safely. When the carts then started down this tiny slope to a straight away over the water. I was a mix of scared and excited for the ride.…
