She used her own writing and the writing of other experts to give us the comfort that she was the authority on the subject at hand. Not every time we approach a subject will we be able to show that authority from the first words that come out of our mouths, and it becomes necessary for us to give examples of why we are the subject matter expert of the topic at hand. For example, if I am in a briefing on a subject in the Air Force and an officer takes the podium I will assume he is authority on the subject. However, if an airman who has been in the military for less than two years talks about the same subject I will need a little bit of his background to full trust his expertise.…

To consider one a hero they must have a number of traits and characteristics: strong, brave, selfless etc.. Spider Man carries all of these and more. He is what you think of when you think of a hero, if the suit and the huge muscles don't give it away as you see him swinging through the streets of new york city fighting any villain, big or small, who has the intention to harm any innocent civilian then his traits should give it away. In 1948, Benne and Sheats, in their acclaimed essay, listed various group roles that may occur during group communication and sorted them into three categories; group task roles, group maintenance roles, and self-centered roles. These roles each have a different motive that help to either lead or derail the group from their common goal. In the classic movie 12 Angry Men, the conflicting dynamics of a jury team creates difficulty as they work together on making a decision about the fate of a young boy accused of murder. The jury members, all extremely different and diverse from one another, each play a pivotal role in the movie that worked to either create group discussion or conflict.…
