The way that you've forgiven me”. Peter feels bad for his actions against Valentine and Ender. He wants people to forgive him and look at the good he has done for the world. It is shown that Peter redeemed himself when Val said “Funny isn't it that Peter saved millions of lives”Peter ended up using the power given to him for good. He shows that he was capable of not only destroying life but actually saving it as well. Peter shows that you can not judge a book by its cover and that some people have the ability to turn their negative life around and make a positive difference in the world.
Peter and Val’s acquisition of power in the book Ender’s game is special, but the truly rare behavior they exhibit is the way they use that power for good. Many leaders throughout history were able to acquire power as easily as Val and Peter were able to influence large groups of people. The real difference is that Val and Peter knew how to use that power to change the world in a positive way.
