Probably the opposite person of Walter. The relationship between Beneatha and Walter is very playful and has its up and down sides, this happens a lot between two siblings. What I mean by playful is because in Act two scene one, Ruth was in the kitchen talking to Beneatha in the living room. Then came Walter, kind of drunk, playing along with Beneatha’s african music that was playing.
