Starting in the 1940’s because of the war and the need for more people in the work force women were allowed to work, they worked longer hours and did undesirable jobs and of course and here is the deal breaker they got paid half or less than half what the men got paid. Which is not uncommon today but we did see at one point women got paid far far less to do the exact same job as men. Today we can say they get paid more however in some instances they still do not get paid the same amount as men do.
The vast changes over the course of 100 years for women are astonishing; women have become inventors of products we use in everyday life. They are politicians and law makers, they are bosses. Therein lies the irony I mentioned before now we see women the owner founder president or CEO or major corporations. They have become the boss and say who gets paid and how much they get paid. And currently we are looking at the precipice of the female feminism. Right now we are seeing women become powerful political leaders. Women have more brain capacity than men do, women’s mind are faster at computing numbers than men’s while a man can judge distance better than a women can. A women has been proven to teach classes and lessons better than a man can. And now in the years to come we are seeing a reverse roll where it used to be common for the man to be the breadwinner and the person who makes the money for the household while the women took care of the house and the kids. Now we are seeing that men are staying home while to women works and supports the family. Not saying that the men do not work there are families that both parents work or just one but we are learning that gender roles no longer are held up any more.
Gender roles are a big thing in the world for all history. In prehistoric times the man would hunt while the women prepared the food had kids and that was all. The men would lead their people and teach the kids survival skills. Today there single women, who have multiple kids and teach them taking on the roles of mother and father, a women can do the function of a man without help from one. We as humans follow gender roles and stereotypes because it is how we were raised or programmed but we are learning how to break those
