In the novel The Titan's Curse, Percy Jackson and his friends went on a dangerous quest to save Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, from the grasp of the titans. They didn't know where she was and who guarded her. But, during the quest, they figured it out. Which but them in even more danger. However, gods like Zeus, Posiedon and even Hades helped them throughout the quest, mostly without even showing their faces.
When the group was at the Hover dam, they accidentally created a scene when they met a human that could see through the mist, a mystical object in the air that made god-like stuff look normal. So Percy drew his sword, Riptide, she could actually see the celestial bronze. That attracted a whole squadron of armed monster. Since everyone was either a human or demigod, they were all vulnerable to bullets. They ran to the center of the dam where there were many statues of babies with wings. As the skeletons were closing in, Percy used his quick thinking to remeber that if Thalia, Zeus daughter, prayed to the stautes, the group might recieve help from Zeus. So after Thalia mumbled a few words while she was on her knees, the statues came to life and carried them to safety. …show more content…
The group was planning to ambush Luke's army, but was spotted by a monster, so they ran around the whole ship looking for a safe exit. After circling the ship with no success, Percy decided to ask his father, Posiedon for help getting off the ship. After doing the same as Thalia did before, the group saw a huge wave and a swimming horse big enough for the whole group appeared. Just as the army was closing in, the squad got on the horse and flew
