What Role Does Technology Play In The Modern World

Laptops, tablets, texting, Google, Youtube, Netflix, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, E-mail, Tumblr, Match.com, MySpace. The list goes on. People are more likely to be seen tapping away on their mobile devices than doing virtually anything else. Innovators have been able to create these tools that have captivated the public. However has new technology been destructive or beneficial to society, and what role does technology play in modern times? Recent inventions have not only enabled people to communicate with each other with a mere tap of a few buttons, but allowed people to connect with others across the globe.
