Because we live in digital world students can learn life skills through technology, and students have immediate access to information that can complement their learning experience.
Although time has passed, technology has become the forerunner and society has become more reliable on technology. Technology helps to enhance the skills and prepare the children for the near future. In the school systems, technology has become a lack in some Social Studies classroom. Another important aspect of this article was that teachers now have the ability to post their lesson plans on their websites, which benefits their students. This option gives students the opening to learn about ahead of time before they come to attend their social studies class. Technology such as the internet allows students to obtain a higher understanding of social studies because it allows them to conduct their own research. “Technology for the Preparation of Teachers” is an article that explains teachers have to be trained to use technology in any classroom. Teachers who are not trained aren’t able to operate the technology they were provided with.
