Introduction
Many people find sports entertaining. However, there are not many people who tries to find ways to improve sports in American society. It is important to improve sports for athletes and economic safety. There are many ways to improve sports. I think there are five ways we could improve sports in American society such as giving equality among sex and types of sports, safety for athletes, heath requirements for athlete, pay college athletes, and decrease salaries among professional athletes.
Equality among sex and types of sports
To begin with, equality among sex and types of sports is one of the best ways to improve sports in American society. Do you really think male and female teams gets the same treatment? NO, male and female sports do not get the same treatment. Male team seems to contribute more to the fans than female teams. It obvious that people in American society find male sport teams to be more entertaining than female sport teams. Most male sports teams are often found broadcasted all over the

For example, college football and basketball players should get paid because they put in just as much work as NFL and NBA players. College football has just as many fans as the NFL, so why not pay college athletes. Most football teams and basketball teams brings in a lot of money to the universities. Big game like NCAA have millions of watches it is broadcast all over the world, and the tickets are very expense. Although, college athletes get scholarship, but what about pocket money that’s need for other expenses. Most college athletes cannot get jobs because practice take up most their time after class and games take up most of their weekends. I think college athletes should get paid at least minimum wage base off their hard work and time they put in during practice and games. To make things fairer they should get paid only during that sport
