People have created memes, vines, and cruel jokes that are racist towards blacks virtually everywhere. In the news, you can constantly hear stories where black men did something wrong, and the white police tried to arrest them, and everything escalated. Police are being accused of being racist and hurting blacks. Today, the KKK still exists and have 42 different active groups spread throughout 22 states. In 2017 they saw an increase of members, showing that people are still very much racist. However, Americans are trying to make equal rights for everyone.
